Can I use Kativa Brazilian Straightening if I have previously had a straightening treatment, can I use Kativa Brazilian Straightening?

Yes. Kativa Brazilian Straightening can be applied to hair that has undergone any previous straightening treatment.

If my hair is color-treated, which straightening kit should I use?

For blonde, highlighted, or light-colored hair, use the Brazilian Straightening Blonde Kit. For brunette or darker hair shades, use the Brazilian Straightening Brunette Kit.
Please note that a slight color variation may occur after the treatment. Hair can be recolored immediately after the straightening process.

How long does the Kativa Brazilian Straightening treatment last?

When applied correctly, the treatment lasts up to 12 weeks.
To extend the results, we recommend using the Kativa Post Straightening line daily, it helps prolong straight hair results by up to 50% longer.

Is it normal for steam to appear during the treatment process?

Yes. Steam is generated when the heat from the blow dryer and flat iron interacts with the moisture in the hair. This is completely normal and indicates that the product is penetrating the hair fiber.
The steam is moderate, non-toxic, and non-irritating.

How should I flat iron my hair during the process?

Work with thin sections and continue ironing until all of the Straightening Cream has been removed from the hair.
It is essential that the hair is 100% dry before and during both the blow-drying and flat-ironing stages.

Can I tie my hair up or use clips after using Kativa Brazilian Straightening?

Yes. You can tie your hair up or use clips and hair accessories immediately after the treatment without affecting the results.

Can Kativa Brazilian Straightening cause scalp itching?

Scalp itching may occur only if the Straightening Cream comes into direct contact with the scalp. For this reason, we recommend applying the product approximately ½ cm (¼ inch) away from the roots.

How long does the application process take?

Application time may vary depending on hair length, density, and individual circumstances.
It is very important to follow all instructions carefully, paying special attention to the blow-drying and flat-ironing steps, as these are key to achieving optimal results.

What hair length is the Brazilian Straightening Kit recommended for?

The kit is recommended for medium to long hair.
If you have very long hair or a high volume of hair, we recommend using two kits to ensure complete and even application.
